Based at Muara Baru Fishing Port in North Jakarta, Indonesia, this leading seafood processing company specializes primarily in frozen tuna.
Equipped with high-performance freezing facilities, the company handles the freezing and processing of tuna, swordfish, and other seafood products, supplying both domestic and international export markets with consistent, high-quality standards.
System Configuration
The facility is a commercial cold storage installation located adjacent to Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Indonesia.
The client selected Japan’s advanced NH₃/CO₂ cascade refrigeration system, adopting the NiCRES platform equipped with high-efficiency reciprocating compressors to achieve superior performance and reliability.
NiCRES has been implemented across the –30°C and ±0°C automated high-rise warehouses, as well as the +10°C anteroom and receiving/shipping areas. This configuration significantly reduces environmental impact while minimizing ammonia charge, delivering a highly safe and efficient refrigeration system.
The facility includes eight F-Class and C-Class processing and storage rooms, along with a fully equipped IQF freezer system.
The automated warehouse utilizes a bottom-blow air distribution method, promoting near-natural air circulation to enhance cooling efficiency. F-Class temporary storage rooms are equipped with high-performance aluminum ceiling coil units, maximizing heat exchange efficiency.
This design improves operational energy efficiency while preventing product drying, discoloration, and freezer burn—ensuring optimal freshness preservation.
