This project was implemented on a longline tuna fishing vessel operated by a fisheries company in Muroto City, Kochi Prefecture. The vessel was newly constructed as a replacement for an existing ship over 30 years old, with enhanced freezing, refrigeration, and communication systems to support modern fishing operations.

Purpose: Freeze caught tuna and maintain long-term storage at -60°C or below
● Installed Equipment: HASEGAWA Reciprocating Compressor Units (HVU-VZL28BFMx4)
● Design Highlights:
・Operates reliably under ultra-low temperature, low-pressure conditions
・Handles severe marine rolling/pitching
・Adapts to fluctuating refrigeration loads from catch volume and freezing conditions
・Maintains stable suction pressure even at -60°C
